Silicone products vulcanizing agent, also known as crosslinking agent. Can make the rubber molecular chain crosslinking reaction, so that the linear molecules to form a three-dimensional mesh structure, plasticity reduction, elasticity agent to increase the substance. In addition to some thermoplastic rubber does not need vulcanization, natural rubber and various synthetic rubber need to be matched with vulcanizing agent for vulcanization. Rubber after vulcanization has a valuable use value, mechanical properties greatly improved.
Vulcanizing agent is divided into two categories of inorganic and organic. The former category has sulfur, sulfur monoxide, selenium tellurium and so on. After a class of sulfur-containing accelerator (such as accelerator TMTD), organic peroxides (such as benzoyl peroxide), quinone oxime compounds, polysulfide polymers, urethane, maleimide derivatives and so on.
Silicone product vulcanizing agents include elemental sulfur, selenium, hoof, sulfur-containing compounds, peroxides, quinone compounds, amine compounds, resin compounds, metal oxides and isocyanates. Elemental sulfur and sulfur-containing compounds are commonly used.
Vulcanizers are suitable for all types of natural and synthetic rubber, and different varieties of vulcanizers can be used in conjunction with each other as required.
